Typical price ranges
- Street food (chole kulche, momos, pav bhaji): ₹30–50
- Thali counters: ₹80–120
- Sit-down South Indian / North Indian: ₹150–250 for two
- Café meal with seating time: ₹300–500 for two
Rules of thumb
- Weekday lunch (2–6 PM) is the quietest, fastest time to eat out
- Go where the queue already is for street food — high turnover means fresher stock
- Most sit-down places deliver within roughly 2 km
